How long do the effects of chemical peels last?
Your results depend on a variety of factors, including how deep of peel you received, what area was treated, and how many treatments were needed. This means results can last anywhere from a month or so to multiple years. We can give you a better idea of what to expect during your consultation.
When will I see results?
Generally, results will be visible within 10 days of treatment, and sometimes sooner depending on how deep of a peel is performed.
Are some chemical peels better than others?
Not necessarily. Some peels we offer work better for certain areas or situations than other treatments, and our team will help identify the treatment best for your needs during a consultation. Can I get a chemical face peel the day before a big event?
A chemical peel will temporarily leave your skin red, tight, irritated, or swollen, no matter what depth the peel is. A light peel can fully heal after one to seven days; a deep chemical peel may require up to two weeks for full healing, but redness can last for months. Please plan social events accordingly.
Do chemical peels hurt?
Depending on the strength and treatment area selected, the sensation levels of chemical peels can range from a slight tingle to a stinging. Most people have no issues tolerating the treatment, but we always have the ability to neutralize and remove the chemicals if you wish.
How do chemical peels treat and improve skin?
